About the Class
Learn the basics of 3D Design in SolidWorks, the industry-wide professional CAD program. Topics covered include the interface, sketching, and dimensioning, extruding and cutting, finalizing and exporting files to print, and creating drawings for presentation. Bring in a project that you want to create or use instructor assigned objects. Basic Level, no experience required, ages 16 and over.
Requirements during the pandemic: Minimum proficiency with Zoom will be useful.Solidworks Program: Download a free 6-month version of SolidworksSolidprofessor Program: $85. Includes one year of access.SOLIDWORKS and eDrawings require a GPU for optimal performance. SolidWorks has tested and certified graphics cards for virtualized environments.
